What is Pickleball
Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport that blends elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It's played on a court roughly the size of a badminton court, using solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball similar to a wiffle ball.
Games can be played as singles or doubles. Players serve underhand diagonally, and the ball must bounce once on each side before volleying is allowed. A key rule is the "kitchen" — a non-volley zone near the net where players cannot hit the ball in the air.
Points are scored only by the serving side, with games typically played to 11, win by 2. Its easy-to-learn rules and social, accessible style have made pickleball one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide.
